I can't seem to download anything from the Internet. Whenever I try I get a blank page with a graphics icon. I am using Windows XP.

Assuming your using internet explorer go into control panel and add remove programs. Click on Internet Explorer and you will be given an option to repair.
Also may want to check for an update to IE.
Also may want to try right clicking and choosing save as on any link as a possible work around.
