I have looked and looked and can't find a good way to uninstall Mandrake 8.1. I tried to use the fdisk/mbr but when I went back to view the drives it was still there. I could not delete the logical because it said I had an extended drive and I could not delete the extended drive because it could not recognize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

email me, and i'll send a program to wipe the partition. fdisk won't get rid of the linux partition. i'm on the road right now, but i'll check back later on, or tomorrow. in las vegas now. ack! spring break! they're everywhere! oh, i'll zip it up. all you need to is extract it to a 1.44 meg floppy. then boot up with the floppy in the drive. when it's done booting, type, NUKEM and follow the instructions to delete all the partitions on the drive. then you can reboot with a regular winxx floppy. and repartition it as a fat/fat32 drive. |
