i would like to know how i might add a quick launch icon for show desktop . |

Not sure about how to do that but Windows 98/ME/2000/XP all have a show desktop quick launch icon. So assume your using 95 which you then right click on a blank spot on the task bar and choose minimize all. |

if you have win98 or newer, there should already be one. however, the path to my *show desktop* is:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop which in dos would be showdes~1.scf.
if you have that path/command there, you can make a shortcut, by right clicking it, creating a shortcut, and drag it into your quicklaunch area on the taskbar. it may have been deleted for some reason. |
