I have been trying to reload my Adaptec easyCD 5.0 software and I keep getting a message that an HTML.exe program is having problems and when I have to reboot, I get the "end now" window to end the HTML.exe program. It is not showing any programs running in task manager and I tried to reload my older EasyCD 4.0 software and it won't run the setup program for it.

I have uninstalled from the add/remove all EasyCD software, but this HTML.exe keeps popping up. Is there any way to find out what it is and how to get rid of it?

THanks,
JERold

I just checked the problem and it is an HTML package..?. THere is nothing running that I can find. Is there some Windows 2000 utility that will show me what is running other than task manager?
