Can I reinstall W2K like Office to repair any problems so that it reloads and hopefully resets any of the problems that I have been having.

I don't mind haveing to reconfigure some settings, but I don't want to have to reinstall everything (OS and software programs) to fix my problem.

Yes, when you go to install Win 2000 it will see that it is already installed and ask if you want to do a repair or install.
