Just like in a horror movie the writer never quite finishes the written message.

Have found most times the effort in restoring a system after a bad virus and multiple file corruption it is more pain than a clean install.

This is also where Norton Ghost (or Drive Image) comes in handy a quick install of all drivers, favourite programs, settings and tweaks can be done in minutes rather than hours or even days.

I am operating Win Me. We are networked. Every time I start up my computer, after a short load, I get a "Windows Login" box. I have tried most of the "fixes" I have found in various places. Can you help ??? Thanks.

just hit cancel. or, if you have to be using resources on the same network, you can have it login as that name and password automatically.

Right-click on My Network Places (on desktop) icon. Properties.
Under Primary Network Logon, your choices are
Client for Microsoft Networks
Windows Logon

Change it to the other. Reboot.
Change it back to Windows Logon. If a box comes up, Don't enter a password (hit cancel). Then you don't see the box.
I went from Client to Windows w/no prompt for a password.
