I reformatted the drive on a pen.1 computer with 10.2 Gig hard drive and now it goes to the startup screen from dos and says Windows needs 7340032 bytes for start up. and then it just sits there. Is it saying we need more memory? How can we need more memory when it has 10 gigs! |

Did the 10 gig harddrive have an overlay on it before the format? If it did and you formatted the drive to whatever the bios detected it as you may very well have only a 5 or 7 meg hdd according to the bios. |
