Every time I hit the back button on my internet browser(Win98) the page I am going back to has to completely reload. Does anyone know what I can change so that the page remains loaded?

go to internet exploer's properties, and then settings, from there you have a few options. to reload the page everytimeyou start IE, every visit to a page, auto, and never.

every visit to a page causes the browser to recheck for newer versions of the page every single time. useful when you want it updated or for html editing when you make changes. everytime you start IE, just about what it says, but checks once, then uses the IE cache. auto. just about what it is and never. try auto, or everytime you start IE. either one may work for you.
