I want to upgrade a relatives computer to windows 98. He already has Windows 95. The problem is, is that the Windows 98 CD, isn't an upgradeable CD. So i wondered if i could delete/uninstall Windows 95 from his computer and install Windows 98 that way.

Can this be done, if so how because i've tried most things.

Thanks
win

a clean install regardless of what the upgrade options is always best. just save whatever data to a disk, such as a zip disk or floppy that they might need. i'd wipe it with fdisk. then create a new partition and format just so it's sure to be a clean install.
