Does anybody have any idea what this means? It pops up in a small window at great intervals, but nobody knows what it means. Can anybody help?

Thanks

looks like code to say that the machine api failed to open to view a cab file or extract a cab file. perhaps related to a dll. you wouldn't have any developement software on your machine would you?

http://www.devx.com/premier/mgznarch/vbpj/1998/05may98/vp0598.pdf

http://msdn.microsoft.com/code/default.asp?url=/msdn-files/026/000/017/Source%20Files/cabinet_cpp.asp

are some pages for information about the code.

oh, if the extractor doesn't find the file in the cab at all. you may get an error such as that; after further research into this.

I do get the same error on my brother-in-law's pc and did read This article(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q328614&gssnb=1) but searched his machine and did not find the csapp.ini file; so then how to get rid of the error message??
