Hi folks, just installed the latest detonator drivers (40) for my pc - athalon 1800 with a geforce 3 card. Never had a problem with previous upgrades, but this time every time I start windows (XP) it gives the error message - "RUNDLL - error loading nvqtwk. Invalid access to memory location". Everything seems to function fine, but this message bothers me. Any ideas?

i hope you uninstalled the previous drivers, and you may have needed to edit the registry too. first, change your card type to standard vga card, then reboot, and uninstall your drivers, the registry entry for that particular error is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and the actual key there would be something like: RUNDLL32.EXE NvQTwk,NvCplDaemon initialize

you'd need to delete that entry, then reboot and re-install your drivers.

however, whenever i do this upgrading, i delete any files that are from nvidia, and delete almost all entries to nvidia in the registry. there are actually 2 entries there that are from windows itself and have to be there. i do this after changing the card type and uninstalling drivers, then edit the registry, and re-install, in that order.
