Hi all if I want to start from scratch I usually use my system restore disk which came with my machine. However, this means tiresome backup routines and reinstallation of software. Is there a program available which would "roll back" my system if needed without erasing data and programs? I know it's a long shot but thought I'd ask anyway. I use Win98 on PII machine. Thanks |

i use ghost, but still, any files i did between the ghost backup and a future date, when i want to re-install from an image, have to be transferred to another drive if i want to keep them. ghost will transfer your drive, or partition, to an image file somewhat like the disks. however, you need 2 harddrives for this, or, you can backup to cd, just like the disks, but need to add the cdrom drivers to the boot disk. |
