Every now and then I find that the computer freezes - because cpu usage is 100%. How do I find out what is using the CPU at that time? I am running XP Home on an Athlon XP 2000+ |

It's normal for the cpu to show 100% usage, but not to freeze. What speed is the cpu and how much memory is installed. |

If it still will work use ctr alt del and check the processes tab. I checked a computer running XP the other night that was running very slow and it wound up Kaza was using 99% of cpu. As Cecil suggests 100% shouldn't freeze the computer but if there are other problems or unstability then this could be the straw that broke the camels back. |
