When I come to a webpage with the little box in the upper right hand corner I cannot get my already installed Acrobat Reader 5.05 to open it.
I'm running Windows 98SE.
Is there something else I'm supposed to do that I haven't done?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you.

should already detect and open pdf's. that is, unless something else has overwritten to open them rather than acrobat. make sure it's a pdf. then, you can manually change the settings in folder options; file types. or, you can uninstall acrobat and reinstall it. should set it back to what it should be.

Thanks win,
I did delete and reinstall Reader but it did the same thing. I'll try the manual thing. Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.

As Always,
Arlene
