i am at a friewnds place and trying to fix their computer that their next door neighbor upgraded.
Used to have win98, now XP, the computer won't shut down itself after choiosing the turn off option.
i can't change in the bios settings or the power options in control panels,

EZ Cd CREATOR(Adaptec, Roxio etc.) can cause this problem. If it's on your system remove it. |
