hello again, this weeks problem. When I'm in Internet Explorer instead of a picture showing up on the site I'm at I get a little white box with a red X in it. If I right click/show picture, it comes around. what have I done now? I research alot of images and this is annoying. thank you in advance.

See if there is a check in the show pictures box. Which in Internet Explorer is located as follows. May have to press F11 first if you are in full screen and can't see the word tools.

Tools
Internet options
Advanced (tab)
Multimedia
Show pictures

Kevin, thanks for responding, and yes there is a check in the show pictures box. Anything else I can try?

Then you might try upgrading your explorer unless you have the latest version. Updates click here

If you have the latest version might try repairing it by going into add/remove programs in control panel and selecting internet explorer. This should give you an option to repair.

O.K. I've the latest version, I've upgraded all the updates and I applied the repair option, still getting the icon. It seems to happen after I have a second page open in Explorer, but not always?
