recently I have been getting those little white boxes w/ the red X placeholders in them while using Internet Explorer 6 and now also in my Outlook Express. Although it's not all the time on all the pages/e-mails. I have the "show pictures" box checked in tools-options. I have also spent the morning researching the Msn support page to no success. Any ideas what I have done or not done? Thank you in advance. |

It's highly possible the image you are trying to see is simply unavailable. If you are a 56K or slower user, then if you are downloading something and also trying to browse the web at the same time this will happen more frequently. Another possibility is the security settings in IE are set too high, and some images won't display for a reason unknown to me at this moment. In a summary I'd say it could be your net connection, or the simple fact that some images aren't availalbe (have been removed or changed from their server). If you have 56K or less, I suggest pausing any downloading and just using your full bandwidth for browsing until you're done. Hope it helps some. |
