MY COMPUTER RECENTLY BROKE DOWN, AND I TRIED TO FIX IT, AND I HAVE IT BACK RUNNING FINE...BUT I'M NOT ABLE TO CHANGE THE RESOLUTION OR THE COLORS...I CAN ONLY CHOOSE EITHER 2 COLORS OR 16 COLORS....I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER THAT I NEEDED BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM

What videocard/motherboard do you have?

I have the same problem with 2 or 16 bit color where I can't choose 356 in Control panel settings. I have an AMD 1700+ with 256 DDRam and nvidia g-force mx440 using Win 98 2nd edition.

Reinstall motherboard chipset drivers and than reinstall the videocard drivers.
