I'm not sure how it got there, but somehow the i-lookup.com search bar got itself installed on my toolbar, TWICE. I've looked around at some sites about how to get rid of it, because when I open IE, instead of my homepage popping up, some dirty site does. None of the sites I've looked at has been very helpful, since they ask me to find files I don't even have, or renaming them which has never worked! What can I do other than reformatting the hardrive?? Help! |

click start>run>type MSCONFIG>click startup tab and uncheck any references to i-lookup and or any other unknown services one at a time and reboot to see which one makes the bugger behave. |

Better yet just list them here and we can tell you which ones can be turned off safely. |
