Hi, please can anyone offer advice on how to delete entries from Windows 2000 Professional "Search Assistant" ??

From:- Start > Search > For Files Or Folders.....
when I have added an entry into the "Search For Files Or Folders Named" box I am unable to delete these entries. For instance if I am searching for a file beginning with the letter "W" all previous entries show in a drop down style box.

I have tried to delete these entries by various means but have been unable to succeed....even after reboot the entries still show. I now have months worth of previously entered entries & wish to start afresh

Any info would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks

If you are an moderately advanced computer user, I can give you some instructions on how to get rid of these things from your search assistant. I don't want to give you the instructions (if you don't know a whole lot) and end up with your computer messed up on my behalf. Let me know.
