Originally my JUNO account was installed on my desktop. Saturday when I tried to log on, I got a message (and a hourglass was also present) that said "verifying file folders." When the hourglass was gone, I entered my password. When Juno opened, ALL my file folders were GONE and some VITAL e-mail messages from cerain e-mail addresses were gone also. I tried to restore my desktop computer to an earlier date but that just made matters worse. After I tried the restore, I once again tried to log onto Juno but a very quick message which said something about "ad banners" came up and said I needed to reinstall Juno. Since then I have not been able to bring Juno up. I get to the screen right after the log on screen and then nothing-- "not responsive". I have tried to reinstall Juno unsuccessfully a couple more times but each time I still can't get past the screen after the log on screen. Next, I downloaded Juno onto my laptop and imported my account in hopes of retrieving my lost file folders and messages but all I got was new messages---none of my file folders or saved messages. I have spent hours and hours trying to figure out this problem and get these VITAL files retrieved and am just lost. Please help me!!! |

I have been a Juno user for many years. What this sounds like to me is your Juno folder is corrupted and a complete removal of all juno files and folders may be needed to sort things out. What version of Juno and Windows O.S. needs to be determined however before I can help you retrieve your data. |
