I had trouble booting Win98 and wanted to start fresh anyway, so I ran fdisk, format, and then reinstalled Win98 on my laptop. I've repeated these steps several times and each time after the program loads and the system restarts itself, I only get the command prompt in DOS. I am at the point where Windows should load and I should be able to configure my hardware. I've looked in the c:/windows/dir and all the files seem to be there, but they're not executing. What am I doing wrong??? |
