Office 2000 will it work on XP?

I have an older version of Office 2k and wonder if it will work on XP..full install, no 98 update edition....BTW, noticed that some of my older software will work on XP if it was an upgrade version, whatsa story on that?

Office 2k will work with XP fine. Windows XP is tolerant of most software written for Win95/98 but doesn't care for true DOS applications much.
