Trying to reinstall a pc with Windows XP Pro
This is a AMD XP1800+ Processor with 256 mb ram
Motherboard Epox EP-8K5A2+

The HD has been slatet and i have run fdisk. As soon as it is supposed to start the install, when it comes to the point starting windows it crashes. It doesent start to format the disk or anything. Im stucked here..can u pls help?

IRQ not Less or Equal errors at install point to some device XP is haveing a hard time dealing with at install. Disable any un-needed ports both com and LPT as well as USB and or firewire until XP is installed, than re-enable them one by one after. My money is on the USB ports being the problem. But sometimes a modem or NIC will cause it as well with IRQ's being shared with other items.

Ok, none of that helped, but i found an article that i think is right. It has to do with XP and AMD XP processor. I need to update the bios and hav etried the awflash but everytime, no matter witch bios version i use i get this message: The program file`s Bios lock string does not match with your system.... I know i have the right bios.. ??????
