Hey, It's been a while since I've been here so lets see if I remember how to do this. I've got the game Final Fantasy VIII for the pc and I'm running the Creative Labs Annihilator Pro. During gameplay I get lines across the screen. I've tried everything in their tech support and I e-mailed them and they said that I'd have to run it in software renderer mode. The graphics in software renderer mode, in a word, suck. I've also downloaded the detenator drivers from nvidia's website and I'm still getting the same lines across the screen.
I'm just wandering if there is anybody out there who has got the game working with the ge-force or am I just screwed until a patch is released.

This is my system:
P2 400 mhz (aopen AX6B motherboard)
256 meg ram
Sound Blaster live
Aopen FM56-p 56k V.90 modem
Intel 10/100 nic card
Annihilator pro ge-force 256 32meg video
32x aopen cdrom
4x2x24 creative labs CDRW.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Just a quick note...before I get caught sluffing...I don't know anything about Final Fantasy, but just ran across something that caught my eye on the ATI site.

http://support.atitech.ca/infobase/3354.html

Now that was just on a particular driver page, but I didn't have time to look and see if it was more than one driver problem or if the problem was universal at all or if the info could be used in your case. You see, sometimes whistling and twiddling pays off, because I thought your post was great and sure refreshed my awareness for the problem. Anyway, back to work...hope this helps somehow.
