I need to move 2 email accounts, both installed on Outlook Express 5. It is critical that I move all the messages, including user created folders.

I aslo need to be sure that I move the address book and contact lists.

I ran the outlook export and it seemed to export everything fine, but, did not let me pick a destination path and it did not provide me with a file name so that I could just find it.

Does anyone know the name of this file name, or a simple way to move the Outlook Express address book/contact list/messages from one system to another?

I just have never used Outlook Express (apart from configuring it) as I am a huge Eudora fan.

Thanks

Danny,

Outlook Express import and export capabilities are limited to a .pst file, and are available only if Windows Messaging or Outlook 98 is installed.

When you initiate an import or export action, the selected files or folders begin transferring to or from the default delivery container specified on the Delivery tab in the Mail tool in Control Panel. If the services for Windows Messaging or
Outlook 98 have not been installed, the necessary support files are not present for Outlook Express to complete the action.

Hope this helps you some.
