Somewhere in windows you can set an option so the mouse cursor is "sitting" in the button area when a dialogue box opens up. Can someone tell me where?

Go to Control Panel/Mouse/Pointer Options and it should be there if you're using Win98 SE or WinME

By default, this option is not there. If you are using a Microsoft Intellipoint Mouse with the proper drivers installed, then it will be there. I believe the option is "Snap to Button" or something similar to that.
