I installed norton anti virus for win 95, now when I click on any of it's programs, the screen freezes up and partially loads the banner screen of norton. Could this be a vid driver prob?
Win 95 boots normal to screen and other programs work good (word, etc) |

Sounds more like a Norton problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Sometimes Win 95 does not fully refresh things that kick off during boot up. This banner problem you describe sounds like the same deal.
You should update to your latest video driver in any case. But I would remove and reinstall the product. More than likely that will provide the fix.
The other thing you may try, is to up your onscreen colors to the max, so if you are running 24 bit color, go to 32 bit if you can, etc... |
