When it boots up, this square comes up and sezs THERE IS NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR THE SYSTEM REGISTRY FILE C\WINDOWS\SYS.DAT.

FREE SOME DISK SPACE BY DELETING FILES AND REWRITING AGAIN
......What does this mean and how do I get rid of that box for good?
Any web sites that will talk me though this procedure out there?
Thanks

How much hard drive space do you have available? I usually recommend to my clients they should have approx. 10% of their total drive space available. If they have less than that, I usually recommend a hard drive upgrade.

For example, if you have a 1GB drive, you should try to retain at least 100 MB available on your drive for windows to operate properly, and not give you any errors about "not enough free space" or "not enough memory".

If you have enough drive space, bad memory may be causing this error.
