A 233 pentium will not recognize either type of mouser being installed, though both types were tried on their respective ports. The ports plug inot a motherboard, com 1/2, and there is a seperate plug for the p/s 2 one. Any tricks or tips for the o/sys to recognize that I have a mouse installed???
Ready to call the CAT to chase the mouse down!!!

I am setting up an 486 for my son in law. After loading Win 95 on the computer, it wouldn't recognize the mouse, which was an Microsoft mouse.
Fortunately I had a Logitech mouse. I attached it to the computer and it worked fine.
