You could always try a program such as "NetNanny" or "CyberPatrol". Since I don't personally use these titles, I don't know if they prevent downloading or not, but it's always worth a shot.

Howdy!!
I just downloaded the trailer to a movie (took some time) & after it was done, nothing happened. is it like other programs/files that you have to locate on your c drive then open to get it to run?
I tried to locate it & I can't.
Any info would be helpful!!
Thanks!
Diana

what format is it in? you can manually tell it to use quicktime, realplayer, or windows media player. it depends upont the extension.

ie: .wma, .ram, .mov, etc.

I've tried downloading programs from the internet as well as from CD-roms and I cannot get them to work or if they do I can't get them into the right program or file to use them. For example, I downloaded CD-rom Print Perfect Gold but I can't make it go where I need it. It has fonts and clip art but I can't get on MSWord and in MSPaint I can't change some things.

usually, when your installing a program you can browse to select the destination for the program, you can even create a new folder. try right clicking in the browse window to create a new folder. hi-lite the folder after you name it.click ok, the path should appear in the destination bar.
sometimes you can delete the destination path in the destination bar to put in your own. then it will state that the folder does not exist, would you like it to be created . say yes and off you go.

say for example print perfect wants to install to the c:\print perfect folder but i like to install to c:\Program Files\Print Perfect instead. that's the path i would use in that destination bar during install. then click advance or yes it should then ask if you would like that folder to be created.

this is roughly the procedure just off the top of my head

it usually works for me
hope it works for you
