I had to reload my system and i reloaded photoshop 5.5, I now can't save files as jpg's. I don't get that option in the drop down list of file types to save as.
I changed the association of jpg files to photoshop in windows explorer. I have been able to do this in the past and I even reloaded the software twice in case I didn't load something properly.
Any ideas?

Is the file you are trying to save in RGB mode, or is it possible that it is indexed color? If indexed color mode is selected, jpg will not appear in the save options. |

You also want to make sure that you flatten the image if you are working with multiple layers. |
