Hi,

I am trying to reformat my drive and load Windows ME. I don't have the upgrade version, so that's why I am doing this. I don't know how to go about doing this, can anyone help?

Don't know much about Win ME, but should be similar to http://hardwarehell.com/fdisk.htm Everything should be the same up to typing in WinME instead of Win98.

Make sure and make a Win98 startup disk first. (just an opinion...If you want a real startup disk. Add format.com, edit.com, fdisk.exe, xcopy.exe, xcopy32.exe, xcopy32.mod, attrib.exe, diskcopy.com, mscdex.exe, scandisk.exe, scandisk.ini, scandisk.alt) Could be a lifesaver someday and will still work with ME, especially if you want to get to DOS.
