I just gat a new laptop and I have been reinstalling the OS (WIN98). I have reformatted the HD prior to each install whenever I can't get a proper configuration (modem card, sound card). I have reformatted 7 times in two days. Will too many formats do any damage to the HD? |

No, It won't. You can fix the problems when something doesn't load the drivers right. You don't have to re-format! If you need instructions, e-mail me. |

I formated my hard drive and did not copy out the monitor driver, now my monitor doesn't display properly. What can i do to solve this problem. I really want to see my monitor display as it should. Thanks. Lawon |
