I am a newbie with the opportunity to get a large monitor that works, but is being thrown out (should be some kind of warning right?). It has three bayonet connections on the back, and the associated cable has a two row, 15 pin plug. Someone told me it is a Mac adapter. Can this monitor be used with an IBM PS/2 with a XGA-2 video card? Any suggestions for how to set this up will be appreciated. Please e-mail directly to rhc3@cornell.edu. Thanks in advance. -Bob Chiang |

CGA is 9 pin 2 row, and VGA, or SVGA is 15 pin 3 row And Im guessing somewhere out there is and adapter that will convert the plug-in for the monitor. Even if you had one made, it would probably cost less than a monitor. try "http://www.jameco.com" |

The monitor should have 3 rows of pins in a fifteen pin adapter. Nothing else will work. Just compare the adapter to the plug on the back of your computer. Hope this helps |
