When installing new hardware by USB, I have had problems because some background tasks seem to disrupt the process. Can anyone suggest a minimum list (or where to find a list) of which tasks need to be left running for W98 to operate while things like USB devices are to be installed? |

The only program you need running (like when you press ctrl+alt+del) is Explorer. I hope this solved your problem. :-) |
