Help, suddenly lost the option to create a new folder, tried re-installing windows 95, but no luck. have disk for windows 98 which i have not yet loaded because i felt i should sort this problem first. any ideas? |

on the win 98 cd, got to the tools\reskit\powertoy folder, and install the tweakui utility. then, on one of the property sheets, read the readme first before making any changes. this will allow you to reconfigure your system. be aware that even if you uninstall the utility, the changes are permanent. unless you change them again with the utility.
a neat toy. but it can also screw up stuff, too. make sure you understand what you need to do before doing it. |
