HELP!!! Been pursuing voice dictation 3 years ... finally accumulated 333hz-cpu,128mbRam,3.2gbHDD,Win98, SBawe64 sound board and Dragonspeak Nat.Speaking software, and only got weak staticky voice through Sound Recorder (with either their Enkay mike or an available Andrea-nc50). Call to Dragonspeak said 'download better SB64 driver SBW9XUP.exe'...did so, finally got installed, and same insufficient output. Can't (on my pension) afford new sound board. Is there some hdwr/sftwr adjustment I don't know about? Any suggestions or feedback will be greatly appreciated. |

are these mikes amplified? if not, try getting an amplified mike to use. i had to do the same thing when i started to use voice recognition. still, it does help when there is a good test of your voice so the computer doesn't get confused. also, not all voice recognition programs are alike. it's still a young technology. it will get better. |
