Can any one tell me wether the sound card plays any part in the cd recording proccess.

Only if the cdr or cdrw is plugged into the the ide on a sound card. And even then it might not. The only real way is if the sound card drivers are broken so bad that it affects windows. But you would notice some other errors and your sound card probably wouldn't work. So most likely no the sound card would not have anything to do with the cd burning process. |
