Hi,
I want to know the easiest way of reformatting a 3.9 GB hard drive with windows 95 to windows 98.

Sorry about the double post.
The best way is to boot off of a win98 boot disk and when it gets to a:\ the type FORMAT C:
Then you can reinstall windows and continue on with life.
If it'd the secondary drive in a computer then just go in through windows and do it by opening up My Computer and then right clicking on the drive and selecting the format option.
Another way to do it is with a program called lifeguard. It's from western digital. All you have to do is run the EZ Install and it will basically do the rest. You will need a boot disk of some sort though because it will ask for it.
