I just got the coveted All-In-Wonder 128 after being impressed with the Pro version. I got it home and plugged it in and installed all the sofeware and pulled the current drivers off the net and installed them. Everything seemed to be running fine except the TV tuner software/drivers don't want to work. I can't run the TV viewer sofware because I get an error message saying video driver in use or hardware not installed properly. I went through a few things to make sure there were no conflicts. No Luck. The funny thing was that I COULD watch TV and my AV inputs through WebTV that comes with Win98. Which leads me to believe that the hardware is installed right. I rebuilt the machine with just the problem card in and reinstalled Win98. I loaded the software and the newest drivers from the net and still the same problem. I've tried every different driver I could find off the net and still no luck. I know the ATI mutimedia driver doesn't work with just the ATI TV software either. I tried to access it using several video capture programs out there. My guess is that Microsoft is using special drivers to access the TV tuner and not the ATI drivers I had installed that's why I can watch TV using WebTV. Does anyone have any guesses as to what else might be causing this problem? I'm at a total loss here! I really want this card to work and I love the rage 128 chipset. HELP! |

When you install the drivers off of the disk it only installs the rage 128 drivers. You have go into your display properties and then change the adapter to the all-in-wonder 128. This worked for me the first time I installed it. I took them right off of the cd also |

I can't seem to be able to play dvd's with any program after installing this card - they make it sometimes to the beginning screen and lock up - installed new directx to no avail, there are no shred irq's etc... I am stumped... |
