aaagh this has happened so many times to me and I never remember what to do to fix it...ok heres my problem - I re-formated my computer not long ago and now I'm trying to re-install windows 98, thing is it keeps asking for a floppy disk and insists there is no e drive ( my cdrom ) I tried installing dos 6.22 to see if that would enable me to use the e drive but it doesn't. So I've re-formated it and theres nothing on the HD, what to I do? I have the win98 disk, no cdrom drivers and no windows bootup disk can any1 direct me back onto course ? Oh and the bios detects the cdrom fine. HEEEEEEEEEELP please :D

Are you trying to boot from your cd? Go into bios, set the order of "boot sequence" so the cd drive is first boot device. Or go to and get yourself a startup floppy. It's always good to have one on hand anyway.
