Hi, My computer won't start. I press the power button numerous times and absolutely nothing happens. I've checked my power cables and the power switch plugs. Everything seems fine. Mymotherboard (Asus A7V) has a light on it that tells when power is being supplied and that light is currently on. I don't know why my computer won't turn on. Help? Andy |

See if the post at http://hardwarehell.com/discus/messages/23/456.html?MondayMay820001047am helps at all. It's always a good idea to use the keyword search on the left to see if anyone has had the same or similar problem in the past. I tried searching for "no power except led" and came up with a mess of results. If the above post doesn't help, I'd try the same search. |

Hi, I am putting together a system using an asus a7v266-e mobo, athlon xp, and enermax eg365-ve fca switching psu. Problem: try to boot and no power to anything, except the onboard green standby led on mobo. So psu is sending some voltage, but nothing happens after pushing power switch. Have tried everything. Maybe I'll buy another psu and try. Please help! |
