And would a radeon 9600 xt or pro work with the motherboard?

Yes the the Geforce2MX 200 is an AGP card. I doubt the power supply would be sufficient for anything with a higher wattage rating than a Geforce4 MX440 Geforce3 TI200 or an ATI9200 or 9500 standard.
