New resource  Sefy's Complete DVD Backup Guide
Backup your DVDs. This guide uses what they call "the tree approach" meaning, they start from the basic, and then the guide branches out so you can select the method that suits you the most.

Soundcard & Speakers Tweak Guide
This guide will take you through everything from basic troubleshooting of playback problems, to Speaker positioning, Soundcard specific settings & more.

Bart's way to create bootable CD-Roms
Here's what they say and I think they're right. "You can create and prepare the structure for bootable installation, diagnostics or other CDs. And anybody in your company (without any knowledge about CD burning) can create and maintain these CDs by adding or changing files when needed."

DVD FAQ
An excellent and thorough DVD "Frequently Asked Questions" that is updated at least once a month. Very nice layout. I am yet to find anything online that comes close.

CDROM - Guide
This site was initially created for CD-ROM discussion, but now has expanded to all types of digital storage. In addition, the site offers a price comparison bot (Bargain Finder), and links to other resources.

Rane Professional Audio Reference
Every audio term and definition/explanation you could imagine. If you are really into getting the most from your sound card or audio program, find out about those settings you are unsure of. Plenty more here, also.

CD-R Info
News, reviews, tips, LOTS of downloads, firmware, MP3, CD covers etc. Very useful site.

The Firmware Page
Get your firmware here for Cdrom, CD-R, DVD. A firmware upgrade will often solve those mysterious problems that just won't go away. Firmware updates are basically, bug fixes. Very informative DVD site.

CD-Recordable FAQ
A very good and extensive FAQ on CD-Recordables by Andy McFadden.

CD-Rom Driver Guide
Excellent Driver Resource. Printer & Soundcard drivers, also. User name: drivers    Password: all

Soundcards
An excellent article about how is the sound produced. Easy to follow article covers quantizing (sampling), resolution (eg. 8 bit vs. 16 bit), memory, playback, MIDI and hardware specs.

Troubleshooting and Repair of Compact Disc Players and CDROM Drives
"A LOT" of info for the fix it type person or just a better understanding.
