I recently added a Case Fan to my PC, and am not 100% certain if its working... I'm keeping tabs on my PC using "Motherboard Monitor 5" and the Case Fan isn't recorded as being on continously, whereas the CPU Fan is... is it meant to work like that? The MB temp tends to be between 30-44 C if thats normal. The Motherboard is a PC Chips M10 LR-H (I think) and I have no idea what brands the Case/CPU Fans are... Extremely new to PC's and would be grateful for advice and pointers!

If the fan isn't plugged into a motherboard fan header via a three wire configuration but plugged directly into a molex connector from the power supply it won't be monitored. If the board is an M810, one or some of the fan headers on the board aren't monitored if I remember correctly. |
