Hello,
I have an HP Pavillion ZE1210 laptop, it works from the battery, but when I plug the AC adaptor, it starts selling like burning wires, and I cannot keep it for longer than a second or two, because it may start smoking.
Does anyone familliar with that problem, some instructions on how to open it and get to the plug would be very usefull. Any ideas?

I had that problem with my Dell laptop, it charged for about 1 minute then started smoking so i took the charger out and now it doesnt charge at all  |

um sorta sounds like some wires touching for the ze1210 take out all the screws on the bottom then flip it over theres 3 on the back where the ports are ones under a sticker take these out and open the screen up the panel that has you power button and quick launch buttons pops out so pop it out then take the 2 screws out of the keyboard then pop it out and unplug the wire then the whole top case will lift off with the screen the unplug the mouse wire and then its off and you can look for wires touching or burnt.. |
