My friend is havin a problem, he has windows 98, when he boots his computer, when it gets to the windows 98 logo, it stays there for a longgg time, and then it goes automaticaly to safemode after like 15 minutes... i was wondering how to fix this, because he cant go to normal windows.

Try system restore, if you can. If not, try running some spyware scan from safe mode. If that doesn't work, try to go to networking mode, which is found in the sameplace as safemode (i'm not sure if it's available in 98 though.) In networking mode, you can go online and find some online scan. Read the "Compaq Presario is killing me!" post and help me out guys.
