Hi, I have an old AMD Athlon 650mhz computer. The motherboard is a Microstar MS-6167. Currently I have 128mb ram looking to increase it. The maximum allowed is 768mb ram. I am currently running Windows XP. I have heard that too much memory sometimes causes problems; therefore before I purchase more SDRAM, I would like to know how much ram should I purchase. I am considering either 2 X 128 or 2 X 256. Thanks for the help.
