Hi, I opened up my CPU for the first time in 5 years and vacuumed out as much dust as I could. However some components have dust stuck on to them. Any ideas as to how I should go about cleaning them? Also, to install SDRAM, do I need to take out the motherboard, or should I try to lay the CPU on its side and then install. Thank You.

Canned air works well for the cracks and crevices. You shouldn't have to remove anything to get memory installed, you may have to move some cables out of the way or make room temporarily by sliding drives forward.
Make sure that everything is back the way it was prior to the ram install.
